About St Andrew's Society of Minnesota
WHO WAS SAINT ANDREW?
Saint Andrew was one of the twelve Christian Apostles of Jesus Christ. He was a fisherman, like his father and his brother, Saint Simon Peter, who was also a Disciple of Jesus. Much of the information about St Andrew is recorded from legends and stories.
The St Andrew's Society was organized for charitable and social purposes and welcomes as members everyone with an interest in Scottish culture and traditions. We are a 501c3 organization that is non-political, non-denominational and non-profit.
Activities include :
Annual Robert Burns Night Formal Dinner
A Scottish Ramble
Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games
Pub Night gatherings
First Footing on New Years Day
Group attendance at Scottish- themed plays and concerts.
